Important Information:
Pre-registration is required prior to all testing sessions. The GED cost is $68.00. Once an examinee has started testing, they must complete the GED in no more than 3 testing sessions within a 90-day period. If testing is not completed in the 90-day period, an additional $68.00 fee will be charged, and the examinee must start over on all five tests. If an examinee is not successful on their first try, they MUST get help from a state approved Adult Basic Education Center in the weak subject area(s), and give the GED Testing Center proof of their successful instruction at the time of their retake pre-registration. There is a $68.00 fee for the GED re-take. There are three test forms and after the initial testing an examinee can retake the GED twice in a calendar year. If the examinee is unsuccessful on the three test forms, the examinee must wait until the first of the new GED testing year for the new test forms.
Official Practice Tests are given through the HCC Adult Basic Education Center located on the Hutchinson campus. Contact: 620-665-8004
