A message from the President.

The mission of HCC is expanding the tradition of excellence through learning and collaboration. Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning are synonymous terms for many of our programs that offer learning for the joy of learning. The collaboration comes from the many instructors who are passionate about the learning they can share with you, the use of quality facilities and technology available at HCC, and working with many partners in our area to offer excellence in opportunities to learn. We appreciate your continued support of HCC’s Lifelong Learning programs.

Welcome to Lifelong Learning at Hutchinson Community College. Our mission is to provide learning opportunities that enable you to continue your learning experiences. It is learning, whether to find a new skill, explore a new business idea, or just for the fun of learning something new because you can. We offer classes that fit your budget and your schedule, and at a level if you are new to a subject or wanting more advanced information.

Bring a friend….when you see something you are thinking you would like to attend ask someone to go with you. Research shows that sharing a class helps both of you learn, and as an added bonus you could probably carpool, and that would be useful in these days of high energy costs.

If you have an idea for a class, then please send it to us to consider. Or, if you have experience in a field or a personal interest and would love to pass it on to others then also contact us. If possible send a brief description or outline of your idea and how someone can benefit from the class. You will find our contact detail on the “contact information” page.
