Title: Degree Audit Specialist (STF2606)

APPLICATION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions -

  • Coordinate the processing of Degree Audit Reports.
  •      a.   Continue expanding and facilitating usage of the Degree Audit system.        
         b.   Maintain the data elements of the Degree Audit system
  • Coordinate the processes related to Graduation.
  •      c.  Check applicants and process related paperwork
         d.   Provide information related to graduation to various campus groups. 
         e.   Promote commencement ceremony.
         f.   Compile list and arrange graduates for commencement.
         g.   Print and distribute diplomas.
  • Manage the processing of Verification of Attendance.
  • Order supplies for department utilizing purchase order system.
  • Assist with records office telephone and information counter staffing.
  • Assist with processing schedule changes.
  • Assist with document scanning responsibilities.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Serve actively on campus committees.

Secondary-

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Registrar.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Physical requirements include the ability to operate office equipment and to perform mathematical calculations; Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer, and to operate additional office equipment; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; to use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; The ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; Attentive to detail, accurately follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, Sedentary/Indoor work environment with a substantial amount of keyboarding required –

HOURLY WAGE and STATUS:

The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications. This full-time support staff position is 12 months annual (261 work days per fiscal year), benefit eligible and nonexempt.
