Coordinator of Enrollment Management (ADM3127)

 

APPLICATION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential -  

  • Develop and execute project plans identified as Strategic Enrollment Management priorities, collaborating across the organization to implement, operationalize, and support SEM initiatives in the context of strategic planning.
  • Lead communication efforts with the marketing department to create and launch responsive messaging to varying constituent groups in print, digital, advertising, and social media as it relates to the recruitment of new students and the retention of current students.
  • Collaborate with various academic departments to ensure class offerings are meeting the needs of the institution.
  • Represent the college at various meetings and trainings; serve on internal and external committees and councils, as appropriate.
  • Investigate and develop ways to meet established enrollment goals and improve services to prospective and enrolled students.
  • Produce and distribute progress reports on enrollment goals.
  • Compile data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Lead, develop, and execute project plans and initiatives identified in Strategic Enrollment Management that includes a path to operationalize, fund, and support projects at the close of the implementation.
  • Analyze and assess the effectiveness of SEM initiatives using quantitative and qualitative data and adapt projects accordingly.
  • Coordinate targeted electronic, print, and text communications to a variety of different audiences.
  • Leverage consumer psychology and targeted marketing to create persuasive communications to ultimately increase enrollment.
  • Use data analytics to assess effectiveness of message, modality, and timing and adjust communication plans accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to maintain a consistent college voice in all recruitment materials, social media presence, and advertising.
  • Reinforce branding standards by the college style in all materials.
  • Serve as a functional analyst and liaison between SEM and IT.
  • Create and initiate system workflows, communication plans, training materials, data queries, and reports.
  • Work closely with the Outreach team (Career Coordinators) to ensure prospective students are connected to front line service providers, admissions, and responsive faculty and staff.
  • Collaborate with faculty or departments to research enrollment trends and forecast enrollment projections.
  • Serve on college committees to collaborate and support college marketing, strategic enrollment management, recruiting, and academics.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.

SECONDARY:  

  • Perform additional and related responsibilities as assigned by the HutchCC President.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Public Relations, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Two or more years’ experience in a high-performance, outcomes-driven team, focused on student affairs in higher education, project management, marketing/advertising communications and/or public relations. Master’s degree in a related field may substitute as two years’ experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong leadership skills that can motivate cross-functional teams of people toward project outcomes.
  • Experience in organizing and leading multiple projects at once with different timelines, work teams, and modalities with outstanding problem solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Creative and innovative approach to project and communication plans using responsive marketing techniques.
  • Experience using and maintaining a SIS system.
  • Ability to work effective with populations representing diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and abilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push/pull, carry, etc. Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills; excellent organizational skills; ability and willingness to collaborate; ability to work independently; Use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; Light to moderate, indoor work environment.

SALARY and STATUS

The salary is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. This full-time administrative staff position is 12 months annual, benefit eligible, and exempt.
